Twinklenauts and Twinklenauts Studio. Effective October 7, 2026.

Who we are

Twinklenauts is a YouTube channel of animated space adventures for children ages 4 to 8. Twinklenauts Studio is a private desktop app that the Twinklenauts team uses to publish videos to its own YouTube channel. The app is not offered to the public.

Children

We do not collect personal information from children. The Twinklenauts channel and its videos are set as made for kids on YouTube, and YouTube handles viewing under its own policies. We never ask viewers for names, addresses, photos or any other personal details.

This website

This website has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or ads, and it does not collect personal information. Our web hosting provider may keep basic server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability, under its own privacy policy.

Twinklenauts Studio and YouTube API Services

Twinklenauts Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using Twinklenauts Studio you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy describes how Google handles data.

What the app accesses. When the channel owner signs in with Google and allows access, the app uses YouTube API Services to:

• read the channel's name, ID and list of its own uploaded videos (to confirm the right channel and to find videos the owner uploaded by hand);
• read the channel's own playlists (to add new videos to them);
• upload videos to the channel and set their titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions, playlists, audience setting and publish times.

How it is used and stored. This information is used only to publish and manage the channel's own videos. The sign-in token and the data above are stored only on the owner's own computer, in the app's local files. Nothing is sent to us or to any other server, apart from the requests the app makes to Google to do the tasks above.

Sharing. We do not share, sell or rent any of this information. The app shows no third-party content or advertising.

Information on your device. The app stores its sign-in token, settings and video files on the computer it runs on. It does not use cookies.

Deleting and revoking access. Use "Disconnect YouTube" in the app, or delete its token file, to remove the stored sign-in. You can revoke the app's access at any time on the Google security settings page. Uninstalling the app removes all of its local data.
